Hi there! Happy Monday to you! I thought it would be fun to start a new series on the blog. I'll pull together a weekly wrap-up of pictures that I've taken - both personal and professional.. Follow along and make sure to share about your week in the comments below!
It's been so much fun chasing my daughter around the house as she's exploring everything and cuddling (or sitting on...) the dog! We're working on just petting instead of smacking. The sunsets have been absolutely gorgeous this week! I only wish that there weren't power lines right in the middle of my view! And I shared a shot from some work I did with a local school. They are in the process of updating their website so I volunteered some time to take new pictures for them. It was so much fun meeting the staff and teachers and the kids were so much fun! We have recently had some of the most beautiful sunsets. Which also means we've had absolutely gorgeous, golden hour light in our backyard! We really enjoy spending time outside after dinner (and before bath time!) to soak in these last summer nights. Our daughter, Peyton, loves to run around our backyard. And we secretly love it, and don't mind chasing her around, because it wears her out for bedtime! I took my camera outside with me tonight and captured a few pictures of a typical evening for us - climbing stairs, pushing furniture around, flying, and playing with the dog (to wear her out for the evening too!). -Cindy
This was the most charming, intimate wedding, filled with personal touches that were unique to Phil and Carissa. The soon-to-be Mr and Mrs greeted guests as they arrived and breakfast items were available before the ceremony began. During the ceremony, Phil and Carissa took communion together - not something you see at every wedding but this time was so special for them as they started their new life as husband and wife.
I couldn't believe how incredibly hot and humid it was on their wedding day but we were able to sneak away for 10 minutes to get a few bride and groom shots! Dancing to music from a live band, assorted desserts, and the yummiest cake were the perfect end to their wedding day. Phil & Carissa, I had so much fun photographing your wedding! Your wedding day was truly special and I hope you will be able to remember all of the little moments that made up your day as you look back on your pictures in the years to come! |
