I met this adorable family of 4 at Holmdel Park for a family session on a Saturday morning a few weeks ago. We had initially discussed doing pictures of just the girls for a Father's Day surprise but schedules didn't work out to get them taken in time but Mom was still interested in taking family pictures for the first time ever and I'm so glad because they are a truly lovely little family. The dad was apprehensive about the process of getting pictures taken but everyone - including the 4 month old baby - did so well! There was a lot of sun on this particular morning so we made sure to stick to the shady areas in the arboretum and near the farm.

I got to photograph this crazy-adorable daddy-daughter duo at the end of May - my second time working with this amazing family. We were at Tatum Park in Middletown, New Jersey on a gorgeous spring day. My favorite father-daughter moments to capture are them holding hands, sharing kisses, and walking hand-in-hand. They don't happen for every session but this sweet girl was ready for her session with daddy!!
I planned a mommy & me mini session date at the beginning of April and picked one of my favorite outdoor locations - Deep Cut Gardens in Middletown, NJ. I didn't know if the flowers would bloom before the scheduled date but I knew it would be a gorgeous location nonetheless. I showed up a little early the morning of and I was so so SO happy to see the bright colorful tulips and a beautifully pink magnolia tree! Spring decided to show up just in time for mommy & me portraits! And how lovely are these mommy's with their littles?!
We had absolutely beautiful weather in central New Jersey over the weekend and I spent almost all of it outside with my family. We had a picnic in the park, we planted strawberries and flowers, went to the playground and enjoyed several neighborhood walks. It was one of those weekends you could bottle up and keep forever!
Happy Monday morning! We're coming off of a mostly-soggy weekend but we've had a lot of fun this week!I'm back for another round of weekly wrap-up! I've never had a problem importing and editing pictures for clients but when it comes to person pictures.... I'm the worst!! This weekly wrap-up is perfect for keeping me up-to-date on my editing. And bonus! It keeps my flash drives empty!
I hope everyone has had a good week & weekend! We've had a lot of soggy/gloomy weather here on the east coast but my Facebook news feed and Instagram (follow along @cindy.johnson1112) was nothing but pumpkin patches and apple orchards and I loved every second of it! We're hoping to do all the fall things soon! I am so excited to share that I will be offering mini portrait sessions for ONE DAY ONLY, Saturday October 22, 2016!! I have a limited number of spots available! Book now before all of the spots are filled!
Hi there! Happy Monday to you! I thought it would be fun to start a new series on the blog. I'll pull together a weekly wrap-up of pictures that I've taken - both personal and professional.. Follow along and make sure to share about your week in the comments below!
It's been so much fun chasing my daughter around the house as she's exploring everything and cuddling (or sitting on...) the dog! We're working on just petting instead of smacking. The sunsets have been absolutely gorgeous this week! I only wish that there weren't power lines right in the middle of my view! And I shared a shot from some work I did with a local school. They are in the process of updating their website so I volunteered some time to take new pictures for them. It was so much fun meeting the staff and teachers and the kids were so much fun! This little sweetheart (and I'm not just saying that because she's mine!) turned O N E this month and I had the pleasure of photographing her at this 'one-derful' milestone birthday! Her favorite activities include reading, laughing, saying 'dadadada' all day, and giving kisses.
