I was able to photograph this cute little family of three over the weekend and even though it was chilly, we had such a fun time!

I'll be taking a little break, but for good reason! We welcomed this sweet little lady into our lives last week and I'll soaking up all the newborn snuggles. Plus adjusting to this wonderful new life of mama to two beautiful girls.
It has been awhile since I've shared on this cute little blog of mine and I thought "what better time than with this families evening in the park session" because honestly, this family was so fun to photograph! The kids were so much fun and exceptionally cooperative - a photographer's dream!
Happy Monday morning! We're coming off of a mostly-soggy weekend but we've had a lot of fun this week!I'm back for another round of weekly wrap-up! I've never had a problem importing and editing pictures for clients but when it comes to person pictures.... I'm the worst!! This weekly wrap-up is perfect for keeping me up-to-date on my editing. And bonus! It keeps my flash drives empty!
I hope everyone has had a good week & weekend! We've had a lot of soggy/gloomy weather here on the east coast but my Facebook news feed and Instagram (follow along @cindy.johnson1112) was nothing but pumpkin patches and apple orchards and I loved every second of it! We're hoping to do all the fall things soon! I am so excited to share that I will be offering mini portrait sessions for ONE DAY ONLY, Saturday October 22, 2016!! I have a limited number of spots available! Book now before all of the spots are filled!
Hi there! Happy Monday to you! I thought it would be fun to start a new series on the blog. I'll pull together a weekly wrap-up of pictures that I've taken - both personal and professional.. Follow along and make sure to share about your week in the comments below!
It's been so much fun chasing my daughter around the house as she's exploring everything and cuddling (or sitting on...) the dog! We're working on just petting instead of smacking. The sunsets have been absolutely gorgeous this week! I only wish that there weren't power lines right in the middle of my view! And I shared a shot from some work I did with a local school. They are in the process of updating their website so I volunteered some time to take new pictures for them. It was so much fun meeting the staff and teachers and the kids were so much fun! We have recently had some of the most beautiful sunsets. Which also means we've had absolutely gorgeous, golden hour light in our backyard! We really enjoy spending time outside after dinner (and before bath time!) to soak in these last summer nights. Our daughter, Peyton, loves to run around our backyard. And we secretly love it, and don't mind chasing her around, because it wears her out for bedtime! I took my camera outside with me tonight and captured a few pictures of a typical evening for us - climbing stairs, pushing furniture around, flying, and playing with the dog (to wear her out for the evening too!). -Cindy
This was the most charming, intimate wedding, filled with personal touches that were unique to Phil and Carissa. The soon-to-be Mr and Mrs greeted guests as they arrived and breakfast items were available before the ceremony began. During the ceremony, Phil and Carissa took communion together - not something you see at every wedding but this time was so special for them as they started their new life as husband and wife.
I couldn't believe how incredibly hot and humid it was on their wedding day but we were able to sneak away for 10 minutes to get a few bride and groom shots! Dancing to music from a live band, assorted desserts, and the yummiest cake were the perfect end to their wedding day. Phil & Carissa, I had so much fun photographing your wedding! Your wedding day was truly special and I hope you will be able to remember all of the little moments that made up your day as you look back on your pictures in the years to come! What a special wedding this was for me to photograph! The groom, my little brother, married his wonderful bride after several years of dating! To be honest, she's already felt like family but now she gets to carry the Shodlouski name! These two lovebirds were wed on what I'm sure was hottest and most humid day of the year but the heat and humidity didn't put a damper on their special day! Their ceremony was sweet and so perfectly them! And how lucky for them to speed away in car that a groomsman took to be cleaned just hours before the ceremony began?! I'm so glad the the couple and their bridal party agreed to pictures outside, even though the temperatures were brutal, because we got so many beautiful ones that I hope the Mr. & Mrs. will cherish for many years to come! Congratulations, Leon & Shelby! I hope your day was as special as the two of you are to me! Wishing you many blessings and so much love,
